This is the second of what will eventually be ten weekly posts with
material from my old "humor" scrapbook. The content varies from
priceless to junky (especially in the case of humor, which often doesn't
age well), but there's no time to sort things out or curate the
content (which may include material from the 1970s that would be "politically incorrect" nowadays).
The text on "scrapbook" pages can be very difficult to read. One possible workaround is to
right-click on a page to open it in a new tab, then zoom the image on that tab.

I have a signed book of science cartoons by Sidney Harris. Worth searching out one of his books if you enjoy these.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion, Mike. I've requested "What's so funny about science?" from our library.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the first post, looking forward to more of these clippings.
ReplyDeleteToo small.
ReplyDeleteRTFI. Right-click and zoom.
DeleteThanks for all the jokes, but I'm stumped by "candles out at eleven." Am I missing a play on words?
ReplyDeleteNot a play on words. For "candles" substitute "sex toys"...
DeleteI believe the ‘candles’ allusion is a cheeky reference to soft lighting conducive to romance. Now please excuse me while I ring out my brain under a faucet to expunge the prurient image you have placed therein.
