I was sorry to say goodbye to family and friends "up at the lake." I was serenaded nightly by loons, so I hope I can find some way to embed a 30-second recording of them yodeling. Not sure how to do that.
I need to recombobulate for a day or two, then will resume blogging after the weekend.
Just put it as the audio track on a blank video and put it on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteI love every opportunity to hear the loons
That was my suggestion, too. You can set the height of the embedded video at 15 pixels or so, so it won't take up much room.
ReplyDelete"I was serenaded nightly by loons" I had a holiday like that in Crete, but the loons were stag parties.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what it says about me, but the only bucket list item I've ever had was to hear loons in person someday. On a recent trip to the Canada, I was able to check that item off and was not disappointed. I could happily sit by the lake forever, listening to their calls.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to enjoy their serenade on your much-deserved blogcation.
Only in Wisconsin is recombobulate a word. ;-)
ReplyDeleteFirst popularized in Milwaukee, as you may know -
